Overview
Red Recruitment Group are urgently seeking a number of experienced Class 1 drivers for temporary leading to permanent positions in Aldridge, Walsall.
The position will be working for a container distribution client who also currently have opportunities for long term temporary drivers, as well as the requirement for a number of permanent additions to the team.
The main responsibilities will be to collect containers from local Midlands based freight hubs and deliver to customer premises. Wait for freight to be offloaded and then perform box swaps at freight terminals.
A positive customer services attitude is essential.
Drivers will ideally hold a clean licence, with no DR or IN or DG convictions previously and hold:
C+E entitlement on their licence
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
Container experience preferably
The hours of work are approximately a 4-8 am starts, straight day shifts. No nights out. Up to a 12 hours working day on occasion. Flexibility is essential as the working day varies day by day.

£37’180 per year basic guaranteed plus overtime
