Salary – £40,000 – £60,000 Basic / £90,000 OTE, Car Allowance, Fuel allowance, Corporate Credit Card, Blackberry, Laptop, Pension.

Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be covering a UK wide territory selling a High End ERP Software System into the Manufacturing industry. You will be selling into mid-market companies with order values of around £60k. You will be provided leads and set appointments by a well trained telesales team, but you will also be expected to be pro-active and generate your own leads and appointment at times. This is a New Business role and there will not be any accounts to inherit, so this is not a role for account managers. As Area Sales Manager, you will be working from home and expected to manage your diary efficiently in order to maximise the amount of clients you are visiting on a weekly basis.
Experience Required
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Area Sales Manager and you will have sold ERP Systems and Software into the Manufacturing industry. You will be consultative and have a professional approach when dealing with new clients. This is for New Business hunters rather than account managers and the role will also involve international travel, so a flexible and adaptable Area Sales Manager is also desirable.
