General Technician (with fabrication experience))

Salary circa up to 28,000 pa dependent upon experience
Monday – Friday – 39 hours
Good package:

My client is a world leading manufacturer and are well respected in the industry.
They are looking for a General Technician to assist the team in the manufacture of seating systems and accessories to a high standard and to relevant specifications.
This would suit someone from a mechanical /technical background who can read diagrams, use hand and power tools and has fabrication or plastic moulding experience.
Duties include:
* Assembling seat systems as per technical instructions
* To work with team in ensuring new component and manufacturing techniques are used
* Working with power and hand tools, jigsaws, drills (essential experience required) and CNC milling experience would be an advantage.
* Ensure all seating systems are ready for fitting and delivery within required date.
* To be an active,contributing member of the production team with good communication skills.
Experience with fabrication /powder coating / paint spraying would be useful.
Full training will be given but must have hand and power tool experience.
Must be computer literate with good IT skills.
