Plant Fitter
Maidstone, Kent
Full Time, Permanent
Mon – Fri + Every other Saturday (doule time 7am – 1pm)
£18/£19 per hour + Vehicle and fuel card
Working on a major quarry in Maidstone, the successful candidate will be repairing and maintaining all of the fixed and mobile plant associated with the quarry.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working with heavy plant such as crushers, conveyors, dumpers, excavators. Good knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics as well as diesel engines. Welding and fabricating experience is desirable.
Will ideally have BTEC/NVQ/City & Guilds in plant maintenance or similar engineering qualifications.
Plant Fitter Duties:
* Repairs & PPM on fixed and mobile plant
* Working with hydraulics and Pneumatics
* Welding & Fabricating
* Working as part of team
* Adhering to health and safety
* Previous experience in quarry/aggregates/cement
The client is offering a competitive hourly rate of between £18 – £19 depending on experience
