Service and Commissioning of machinery = 50%, Building machines in the factory = 50%. A good mix of travel and factory assembly test, machinery building.
Service, repair of packaging, conveying and food processing machinery already installed on customers sites, together with some Commissioning of new machines and systems. Most of the work will be on UK sites, 15% might be working overseas.
There’s a bit of everything in the company’s machinery projects, so ideally, you’d be a multiskilled engineer, happy to work on electrical, PLC and mechanical aspects of conveyors, fast food processing machines. If you have a food manufacturing maintenance engineering background, you’ve probably worked on these already!
