Irrigation maintenance and install engineer
Salary £27,000 to £30,000
Location Northampton (nationwide service travel and overnight stays required)
We are an irrigation company that requires an employee who can assist on irrigation installs and carry out irrigation maintenance. There will be a 3-month probation period, where you will cover many different jobs and gain in house training, with a view of you then being able to attend jobs alone when required.
Service Engineer – Day to day tasks include:
* Digging holes/trenches
* Fittings sprinklers and valves
* Carrying out tests on systems
* Using control panels
* Troubleshooting issues
* Travel
Service Engineer – It is important that all candidates have the following:
* Fluent English to speak to customers and fill out job sheets
* Positive attitude towards work
* The ability to stay away alone and with somebody else
* The ability to learn and pick up new skills
* The potential to work as a team and alone (following training)
* Full UK driving licence (preferable but not crucial)
