Overview

Our client is a leading trade supplier of uPVC building materials who requires an Assistant Branch Manager.
Products stocked include windows, doors, patio doors, conservatory roofing systems, soffits, fascia’s and cladding, dry verge, guttering, cills, window boards, polycarbonate, sealants, cleaners, fixings, wall and ceiling panels and tools.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting the Branch Manager, working as part of a small team on the trade counter and helping with warehouse operations to ensure an efficient running of the branch, the processing of sales, arranging deliveries, managing customer accounts, stock management, overseeing health & safety, cash management and financial reporting.
* Building trade customer relationships.
* Helping the Manager to achieve branch sales targets.
* Supervising branch operatives allocating tasks as required and in the absence of the Manager.
Requirements:
Must always be able to maintain excellent customer service and portray a professional manner. Must have good written skills, excellent communication skills, a positive approach to problem solving, good attention to detail and be PC literate. It will be an advantage if you have experience of working on a trade counter within the building materials supply sector.
