Position: Bid Writer – Affordable Housing – Hybrid Working!
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £60k – £80k + Excellent Benefits + Hybrid Working!
A well respected and established main contractor in Hertfordshire specialising in the affordable housing market, require a Bid Writer to work closely with the pre-construction team to develop detailed responses to the PQQ’s.
Duties will include writing standard, custom technical & descriptive text, images and illustrations.
Working on your own initiative the successful applicant will conduct research, interview contributors and gather information from a wide range of sources to construct a solid, well-structured response to the client’s PQQ and bid submission.
The ideal candidate will have experience of proposal production terminology, editing and drafting. You will work closely with the Pre – Construction team and will need to be versatile in your approach and use your previous experience to also identify opportunities for the company including client research & analysis, design, product innovation and development, PR and communications.
Excellent communication and motivation skills, the ability to write technical documents, work to strict deadlines, and have advanced software knowledge is therefore essential.
