Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services
Vertical Recruitment is working closely with a leading independent Building Services Consultancy in Manchester, due to increase work load they are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Building Services Engineer at Intermediate level. The company are working on a range of complex and interesting projects across commercial, residential, hotels, sports and healthcare sectors.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious electrical design engineer to play a key role in the design and delivery of a variety of building services projects. What you’ll be doing:
Working as part of a design team delivering the full range of electrical services from concept stage through to detailed design.
Using software packages such as, CAD, Hevacomp, Amtech and Revit MEP.
Liaising closely with other professionals, including architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams
Attending a range of project and technical meetings
Working to Health and safety guidelines.
Advising clients and architects on energy use and conservation in a range of buildings and sites, aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint
What we need from you:
At least 3 years experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer, gained with a Consultancy or M&E Design Build Contractor.
Experience with running projects including calculations, drawings, specifications.
Accredited Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND)
AutoCAD, Amtech, Hevacomp experience.
