Overview
BCS are recruiting for an experienced and gas safe qualified commercial heating engineer to join a well-established contractor in a permanent position across to work in the West/ East Sussex and surrounding areas.
Work involved:
* In this role you are required to be Gas Safe registered with experience in commercial work that involves boiler installations, repairs, testing, purging and commissioning.
* Working on boilers and heating systems.
* Reactive maintenance and Planned preventive maintenance (PPM), more commonly referred to as simply planned maintenance (PM).
* Timesheets, writing up reports and interacting with clients over the phone face to face and over the phone. Ensuring safe working practices are carried out on jobs you will be carrying out for our client.
Ideal candidates will have at least 5 – 10 years worth of experience working in the commercial heating industry. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and good knowledge and working abilities in building maintenance works for commercial heating.
Area: East and West Sussex, occasionally working in Reading, Eastleigh and London on a Rota with the other engineers.
Salary: £40,000 to £46,000 dependent on experience
Van, tools, PDA Device, and phone included.
Qualifications:
Gas safe, domestic changeover to commercial works, TPCP1/ TPCP1a (testing and purging) and CSCS ideal but the client would look into supplying qualifications and training if necessary for the ideal candidate.
Working hours:
8 hours a day, to be worked between 8:00am and 5:30pm.
