A great opportunity to join a fantastic business, this opportunity will support the controls, and technical engineering base by undertaking service, emergency breakdown cover for controls within an electrical bias, mechanical-related automation site base environment plus deputising for the Shift Manager during on-call periods.
Automation Controls Engineer: OTE £75,000 (realistic)
Working DAYS (Monday-Friday) 40 Hour Week
Call Out Rate Paid £80.00-£85.00 per hour

The Automation Controls Engineer will communicate with our customer regarding support calls and control customer incidents remotely, on occasions scheduled service work may also be required along with a good understanding, and working experience of control systems and techniques especially Siemens S7 along with Control Systems/Drives and Scanners.

Automation Controls Engineer
* To undertake scheduled repairs
* To undertake emergency repairs
* To deputise for the Shift Manager during on-call periods
* To undertake occasional scheduled service work
* To accurately record all work undertaken
* 1/5 rota providing a 24-hour emergency on-call service as required
* Adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.
* Minimum ONC/ HNC / HND (or equivalent) qualification in electrical/electronic discipline.
