Reactive Maintenance – Social Housing
A privately owned Facilities Services business with a Hard / Fabric Services focus has an opportunity for an Operations Director to support the companies continued growth and success across a number of Social Housing contracts in London. As a business who really support their employees, you will have immediate exposure to the Board and the opportunity to learn from a very experienced and approachable Leadership team, and further develop yourself.
The business is currently turning over in the region of £5-6m in reactive works, and they are looking for someone with a strong pedigree in the Social Housing sector.
As Operations Director you will lead and oversee a sizeable team of reactive engineers and an office based team of support and administration staff.
Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in and knowledge of reactive maintenance service delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will hold P&L responsibility so you must have a sound commercial and financial awareness of these types of reactive service contracts.
Your key responsibilities will include –
* Ensuring effective leadership and support of your team, and management of all supply partners and specialist sub-contractors.
* Establishing strong communication lines and excellent working relationship with clients, your team, and specialist sub-contractors.
* Overseeing and ensuring the commercial success of the business..
* Overseeing and ensuring that all compliance, contract expectations, Key Performance Indicators and Service Levels are achieved, where possible exceeded.
* Producing and presenting financial and performance reports to clients and the Board.
* Ensuring that high levels of health, safety and quality are maintained at all times.
