CCO Group are working on behalf of a leading property practice with offices around the UK in their search for an Associate OR Partner level Ratings Surveyor to join their Bristol offices. Our client offers a fantastic reputation in the market place and are looking for a driven senior figure head that can help aid the growth of the business whilst servicing key accounts.
* Providing key clients with services covering rating valuation appeals, rates reliefs and rates management
* Representing the firm’s clients in the best manner by achieving rates savings via the Check, Challenge, Appeal process and pursue all other opportunities for savings
* Developing and managing the relationship with the company’s key clients whilst being expected to proactively develop new relationships to increase revenue streams.
* Supporting the graduates and developing a team.
* Technical knowledge including relevant legislation and case law
* Experience of valuing retail properties for rating purposes preferable
* Commercially aware
* Strong negotiation skills
What do you need to be successful?
* Clear expertise within business rates Surveying
* MRICS status
* Ability to manage significant case loads
* Ability to manage and nurture a team
* Ideally from a consulting background
* Ability to generate business alongside developing existing relationships
