Platen Press Operator – POS / Print
Location: Cheshunt – North London – Easily accessible via M25
Salary: DOE
Company: Global leading organisation serving indoor, outdoor and online markets.
Role: Responsible for setting up and running platens to produce finished materials.
* Handling of large cutting forms and various types of materials
* Adhering to health and safety regulations
* Setting and operating platen machines
* Complete paperwork accurately
* Complete daily machine checks sheets and any faults are to be advised to your supervisor,
* Always follow the Quality Control process and perform random quality checks to ensure consistency,
* Take responsibility to report any issues or unsafe working practices and follow the correct procedures
Requirements:
* Experience operating hand fed platens up to 3 x 1.8
* Worked with all materials particularly in POS
* You will understand Health and Safety practices
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work on your own initiative
* Proven experience of working in a manufacturing surrounding
