Science Teacher Required.
My client is a popular, highly successful oversubscribed school in Grantham who are looking for a PART time Science Teacher to start in September every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday until the end of the academic year. The successful Science Teacher will ideally have a Chemistry specialism, what is key is that the Science Teacher must be enthusiastic, set high but realistic targets to challenge the pupils to reach their full potential and have previously delivered engaging Chemistry lessons whilst effectively managing the classroom.
As this is a part time, there will be a small element of planning and you will also be involved with marking etc. but time will be made available within the timetable and you get the opportunity to work in a supportive and well run Science department.
Salary is in accordance with the main point scale.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
To be considered ideally you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a recognised Teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Bachelor of Education, GTP, Certificate in Education etc. and you must have experience of Delivering Chemistry to GCSE.
Applications are welcome from experienced Science Teachers as well as Recently Qualified/Early Career Science Teachers.
