Overview
Our client is an Engineering and Manufacturing company based in the Consett area and they require a Hurco VMC Machinist to join them on a permanent basis.
They are currently installing a Hurco VMX64T, and the other machine to run would be a Hurco VMX50.
The role will support maintenance for companies in the local area, manufacturing parts for production machinery using Hurco machines to produce high tolerance parts using various materials.
Bespoke products, programming the machine, no batch work, basically one offs.
The hours of work for are Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm.
The hourly rate for this role is between £16.29 – £18.28 depending on experience and there is regular overtime available.
